Focusing on society - family - state formation, we exam and discuss the founding fathers of sociology - the distribution of resources and wealth.  We examine if Irish society as a republic has a class system - issues such as racism - feminism - socialisation - social stratification - are identified and discussed -

The power of research - the management of information taxation economics political structures and social administration are all important components in how equality is addressed in a state structure.

Finally, we will conduct our own research project and present findings to demonstrate an understanding of poverty issues.
