This module is delivered through practical classes where the student develops their understanding and skill of the art of classical and contemporary mime.
Mime is perceived as the art that makes the invisible visible. Most people think of the invisible rope or glass wall when Mime is mentioned. While that is true doing those properly requires techniques such as the understanding of the weigh of space, posture , co-ordination, breathing, control and the development of the imagination in order to create environments and objects. It also requires a process just as much as learning to use your voice properly.
Image work is also an essential creative tool that will support the work that you will be creating.
